A Good Man! Father’s Day Card an Appreciation for the Fathers in our lives.

Hello Everyone,

Today’s project was created with A Good Man stamp set as well as the new In Color 2020-2022 Designer Series Paper. Creating the card I used three different designs, one of the new in color Bumblebee, I used the front and reverse sides,  as well as one of the Misty Moonlight piece of Designer Series Paper . To emphasize some of the polkadots in the designer series paper pattern, I used the decorative masks and some sponging for some added interest in the background.

I created the polka dot background on the card base using the polka dot Basic Pattern Decorative Masks a stamping sponge with Night of Navy ink.

Next, I cut a 5 x 3 piece of In Color Designer Series Paper then cut off a random angle backed it with a piece of Whisper White card stock, then the bottom portion I cut off uses the reverse side of the designer series paper to create the bottom triangle. Then layered it on top of a Misty Moonlight piece of the Designer Series Paper.

I used the man holding his daughter image from that A Good Man Stamp Set using Memento ink, then colored it and using a Stampin Blend Markers. The colors are used were Night of Navy combo, Crumb Cake combo, Rococo Rose combo, light Petal Pink, Light Smoky Slate. I then cut out the image using paper snips. Stamp a few hearts using or Rococo Rose ink, cut them out using paper snips.

I stamped the sentiment “I grew Up loved’ with Night of Navy ink, then used the smallest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut it out.

A relatively simple card with lots of interest with geometric shapes.
