THANKS! Come Sail Away Suite!

Hello Everyone!

Come Sail Away Suite one of my favorite suites in the annual catalog. This card has the coastal nautical feel with tons of texture truly a fun card what a great way to say thanks! Today’s card was created with lots of layering with a little watercolor technique.

The card base on today’s card is in Smoky Slate card stock, the next layer is the largest of the Stitched Rectangle Dies using the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to create the focal point, I used a piece of Fluid 100 watercolor paper Balmy Blue ink And an aqua painter to create the watercolor effect.

Once this layer is dry using the Lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set and Night of Navy ink, stamp off one time and then stamp over your watercolored Balmy Blue watercolored piece. Now using the Smooth Sailing Dies I then cut some Seagrass using vellum a ship wheel using Whisper White card stock.  Now using Smoky Slate ink full strength stamp the Anchor image, then cut out using the coordinating die. I stamped the sentiment ” THANK” with Versamark ink and used White embossing powder and Night of Navy card stock. Layered it on top of a piece of the striped Come Sail Away Designer Series paper cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangle Dies. Now layer up your pieces using glue as well as some dimensionals to the right of your lighthouse image added some of the Baker’s Twine as well as a Sail Away Trinket.
