Joyful Christmas! Birds of a Feather

Hello everyone!

Just a few days left before Christmas I created a few last-minute cards decided to use this adorable Birds of a Feather stamp set. I created today’s card using an Aqua Painter and some Poppy Parade ink.

I began with a piece of Shimmer White card stock measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″. Using an Aqua Painter and Poppy Parade add some color to the center of the card then lay a large block on top and let it dry once dry picked up some color using the Aqua Painter tapping against the back of my scissor I splattered some color over the entire piece of card stock to give it a little spackle.

Using the Birds of a Feather stamp set I took the little chick holding the star, stamp it on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Memento ink and colored it in using Stampin Blend Markers, I added some white using the Chalk Marker to the pom-pom and the front of the birds hat then punch out using a 2″ Circle Punch then using the Starburst punch cut out a piece of Poppy Parade card stock glue your little bird onto the Poppy Parade card stock. Stamp the sentiment “ wishing you a joyful Christmas from our little flock” using Poppy Parade ink. then cut out the sentiment into three pieces.

Add some White Bakers Twine crisscross pattern over the center of your painted card stock then add a bow,  add your bird to the left side using dimensionals. Glue the sentiment to the right upper section. Now glue this layer down onto a piece of Poppy Parade card stock measuring 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″. Glue down onto your Poppy Parade card base measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4 “. Add a few of the Toile Glimmer Dots

I hope you have enjoyed today’s project.
