Thinking of You This Season!

Hello, my friends!

Today’s card is an example of how you can take the same card layout to make a totally different card, this is the same card layout as the last blog post with the trick-or-treat duck I used the same Basic Pattern Decorative Masks but instead of embossing paste I used Versamark ink and Golden embossing powder. I use the Winterwoods stamp set and the coordinating  In The Woods Dies to create the sentiment and tree.

The card base is the Gold Foil Edged Cards and Envelopes. The next layer is Real Red card stock measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″. Scrap pieces of Gold Foil, Real Red, and Whisper White card stock.

Lay Your Pattern Decorative Mask over your Real Red card stock piece, then using Versamark ink applied over the mask, cover with Gold Embossing Powder, remove mask and heat set using your heat tool.

Using the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the Gold foil card stock then using the next smallest Stitched Rectangle Die to cut out a piece of Real Red card stock. Now using Shaded Spruce ink stamp your Tree image onto your scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, die-cut using the coordinating In The Woods Dies. I did an additional piece of Whisper White card stock stamp the sentiment” Thinking of You This Season” with Versamark ink use Golden embossing powder and heat set then cut out the sentiment using paper snips.

Now add some Cotton Real Red Ribbon around the Real Red embossed layer, adding a bow to the left side, glue your Real Red Rectangle onto your Gold Foil Rectangle then glue down your Tree image as well as your sentiment, then adding dimensionals to the top of the bottom add these layers over your ribbon. Glue down onto your card base. (I would’ve preferred to use the gold metallic edged ribbon but ran out).

I hope I’ve inspired you! Thank you for stopping by!
