Card of Encouragement using the Perennial Essence Suite!

Hello, my friends, I hope you are all well!

Today’s card was created using many elements from the Perennial Essence Suite including the Floral Essence stamp set with lovely floral images and beautiful sentiments and it also coordinates with the Perennial Flower Punch. The Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper is beautiful unique hand-painted imagery it is so beautiful making a statement all on its own it doesn’t need much else for a wow card, scrapbook page or any project for that matter. The suite also includes the Perennial Essence Vellum a card stock absolutely gorgeous, coming in three different shades that coordinate with the designer series paper. I love so many things about Stampin’ Up! but I think my favorite thing is the coordination makes creating projects simple.

The card base is Whisper White measuring 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, next layer is Blackberry Bliss measuring 5 1/4″ x 4 1/8″, the Designer Series Paper layer measures 5″ x 4″.

Use Petal Pink ink stamp on the Pink Vellum then punched out the images using the Perennial Flower punch. (make sure you give the vellum enough time to dry takes a little longer than regular cardstock). Using glue dots attach the flower pieces together stacking one on top of the other to create a full flower. The next flower was created using the designer series paper and the Perennial Flower punch. (No stamping here) using glue dots adhere the layers together once again, you know should have created two flowers. For the centers, I use the clear Faceted Gems which is not included in the suite, this suite comes with Perennial Essence Floral centers.

Use a scrap piece of Whisper White and Blackberry Bliss ink, stamped the sentiment from the Floral Essence stamp set which states “all days are beautiful that begin with you”, then using the third largest of the Stitched Shaped Dies I cut out the sentiment. Then using the 2″ Circle Punch I punched out the designer series paper that has the green coloring, now attach to the back of the sentiment, using glue.

I stamped to Leaf images using Granny Apple Green ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, using paper snips cut out the leaves but it also coordinates with the Leaf punch (which I do not have yet)  now glued these to the back of the sentiment on the right-hand side.

It’s time to assemble your card I first glued the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper onto the piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. Now attach a piece of the Polkadot Tulle Ribbon to the center adding a bow to the left-hand side. I then attached the two flowers using glue dots next to the bow towards the right add a dimensionals to the sentiment and attach that to the right of the flowers. Now glue these layers onto your card base and your card is now complete.

I do hope You have enjoyed today’s project!
