Happy Mother’s Day with the Healing Hugs!

Mother's day Healing Hugs

Hello, my friends!

Today’s card was inspired believe it or not by a tote bag I had, I was sitting looking at the bag thinking that would make a great card so I created it using the flowers from the Healing Hugs stamp set and the sentiment is from the Tea Together stamp set.

The base is Whisper White the second layer is another whisper white piece measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″. I first used the Aqua Painter and the Basic Black ink to create horizontal stripes on the Whisper White layer, I then use the Tufted embossing folder to create the background.

Using the Healing Hugs stamps at I stamped the flower images using a Lovely Lipstick ink and the Leaf images using Granny Apple Green. I then cut out the images using paper snips. I glued the leaves on the back of the flowers and then glued the two flowers together and added dimensionals to the back.

Using the”Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment from the Tea Together stamps and Black embossing powder I stamped and embossed onto a scrap piece of Whisper White, then using the smallest stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies  I cut out the sentiment and added dimensionals to the back.

Attach a piece of Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon to the bottom of the card as well as a Pho Bow, add your flowers to the center of the striped background, add the sentiment to the upper left corner of the striped background ,then glued these layers onto the card base, added some Basic Rhinestones for a little bling.

So each of us can be inspired by simple things around us, let your creativity flow!! I hope you enjoyed this card be inspired!
